Tomorrow is the BIG DAY…

???? Tomorrow I turn 40.? I’ve been reflecting on this lately, as it seems appropriate to do so with a benchmark birthday like this one.? Life is short…too short not to be happy.? Getting my life straightened out, goals organized and making life plans have been a priority for?me lately.?

???? I’m happy to say after a lot of thought, planning and strategizing I have a direction, goals and a plan of action in place to be where I want to be in five years.? This will involve a lot of?changes, some of them rather shocking to some people; but I have to do what I have to do to be happy, I figure if I’m lucky I have 40 years left.? The first 40 passed by so quickly the next 40 will be gone in the blink of an eye.

???? I just got back from a wonderful trip to Minnesota…you’ll be hearing more about Minnesota and the things I love there over the coming years, because I’ll be going back regularly.? Next trip is scheduled for this fall, and I look forward to it more than I can say.? I will post some pictures of the Mississipi River and the trees from a beautiful park in St. Cloud in the coming days, it was a really pretty place to visit…not to mention they have Crafts Direct ?in Waite Park, the most incredibly awesome craft store I have ever been in in my entire life.? I swear I could have spent two whole days there just looking, it was amazing.

I’m off to put on my makeup, something I’m really enjoying doing since I started using Bare Escentuals (another thing I got while in Minnesota) and go get Evan from school.
