Stopping Smoking and Productivity…What a Feeling!

There is nothing like the sense of satisfaction that I get from being productive.? Whether it’s getting things done around my house, creating digitally or doing handmade crafting, baking, cooking, canning (wooo hoooo I’ll be making pasta and pizza sauce soon, can’t wait!!), reading with Evan or even just sitting and cross stitching or working on one of my many WoW ‘toons, I like to be productive in what ever I do.? It gives me purpose and makes me feel good inside.

I am now nine days smoke free, three of those without the patch.? I have found approximately 2 extra hours in my day since I quit smoking, and to keep my hands and mind busy, I have found lots of other things to do to occupy that time.? My productivity has skyrocketed.? Needless to say I’ve played more games with Evan lately, gone to the park more as well and have gotten some extra housework projects that I’ve been putting off completed.? I’ve baked more, cooked more and because I feel better in general, I think I’m happier!? Not to mention my complexion has changed significantly for the better.

I honestly can’t find one reason to go back to smoking cigarettes that is positive…which makes me wonder why I did it in the first place.? Well…I know it was stress…but it just continued, long after that stress had passed.? So glad I decided to be inspired by friends and quit.? Thank you Liz and Misty, for your inspiration and support!
