This Just In

After I had made my M & M cookies, which Evan loved, he said “Mom, next time you make these, make them exactly like this, but with no M&M’s…just the dough, but exactly like this”(meaning round cookies, lol!).? So I did…the day before yesterday, I made a batch of what we named “Just the Dough” cookies…48 large, yummy cookies sans the M & M’s.? They were a huge hit.? They were completely gone within 24 hours.? My nieces alone consumed 16 of them in that time period, proclaiming “These are amazing!”.?? Evan was totally tickled.

The only thing I did differently from the M & M cookies, other than leave out the candy, was top these with Florida Crystals Natural Cane Sugar…a light brown sugar with a slightly nutty taste.? The sugar accented the rich, buttery flavor of the cookie and gave a little something.??
