This Just In

So most of you know I have two sons…and for those of you who don’t, I have two sons.? The older of the two, Carl, is a senior at Lake Superior State University in Sault Ste. Marie.? He has his own apartment this year.? I would imagine it’s teaching him skills like crazy, including cooking.

Last night he decided to make my home made macaroni and cheese recipe, and I was so excited that he was going to try it.? I showed him how to make it a couple of times over the summer and wondered if he would ever try it on his own.? Last night he did, and he texted me the pictures of his fabulous creation!? I don’t know how to get them off the phone or I would post them here–that macaroni and cheese looked fabulous!!! His friends pronounced it as good as mine, which made both of us really happy.? True to form, he is my son, he tweaked my recipe, using some smoked cheddar in place of sharp–I am so proud!? That’s my boy!? Carl, I hope you have many years of happy cooking and baking.? It’s something that Mom finds true joy in, and I hope you will too.? Love you kiddo!
