?Another wonderful mix from the folks at King Arthur Flour.? This Lemon Poppyseed Muffin Mix is fantastic–easy?and?fast to make.? I made 6 jumbo muffins that turned out tender, loaded with poppyseeds and a nice, subtle lemon flavor.? Next time I will add a tablespoon of fresh lemon zest or lemon oil to boost the lemon a bit as I like things extra lemon-y.
The price does seem a bit high, but it’s comparable to the price of mixes from Tastefully Simple, another line of mixes I love that you can purchase via home parties or online.? I do most of my baking from scratch, but there are days where I don’t want to monkey with it…not to mention semi-pricy and exotic ingredient hunting is something I have to be in the mood for, and more importantly have time for.? Mixes like this one give me high quality baked goods that are as good as baking from scratch.?? I would definitely recommend this mix if that’s something you’re looking for too in a pre-packaged mix.
