November Reflections

November has flown by quickly.? Tuesday it will be December already.? For me, this month has been spent in blocks of mourning, sickness and creativity.? November 1 my Aunt Linda passed away.? Then I bought new furniture and finished painting in my hall.? Then I came down with H1N1, otherwise known as “the swine flu”.?

This flu was particularly painful.? I had it for a full two weeks, and went to the Dr. in the middle.? She prescribed me some non-narcotic pain pills to go with my Dayquil/Nyquil regimen, and for the first time in three days, I could move pain free.? It seriously felt like I was being stabbed in all my joints, from my toes to my knees to my shoulders and fingers.? It made me cry at times it was so bad.? I didn’t blog during this time…I think I layed around and slept a lot.? When I was up and around, I wasn’t on the computer, except to create a few candy bar wrappers for an order I had.?

So I feel like I’m behind, and will be posting a few things this week with “Catch Up Post #” in the title.? I have pictures from the bake sale to show you, a funny Evan story to share, and other fun things that I knew I wanted to put here but just couldn’t physically.?

I’ve missed you, little blog!? We’ve come to have such a good friendship, it feels good to be writing again.? Stay tuned, more to come,?maybe even later today, who knows?

Evan has his buddy Nate here today to play.? Nate’s stepmom is out combat shopping for Black Friday (better her than me, let me tell ya), so I had her drop him off last night to spend the night and play today.? Evan and Nate get along like peas and carrots, and Nate’s such a good kid he’s a joy to have over.? I also want to get my Christmas tree up today.? I have the holiday spirit this year like I haven’t had it in a while, so I’m really looking forward to it.
