With such an abundance of free recipe sites and blogs on the internet, I’ve never bothered with a paid subscription site before.? I love Cook’s Illustrated Magazine and got an offer in the mail to get their paper mag…and so went online to their website and discovered that it is a paid site, with no advertising.? They offered me a free two week trial and I took them up on it.? I sure am glad I did! This site is wonderful!? Full of fantastic recipes, and access to all the Cook’s Illustrated magazine archives for what seems like eternity.?

You can read and save product reviews, watch cooking technique videos, plan and save menus and so much more.? I am positively delighted, and will be giving my older son a subscription for Christmas this year.? It’s a bargain at $34.95 a year–the same cost as a subscription to the paper mag, but you get so much more, and no paper clutter.? How can you beat that??
