The morrow was a bright September morn;
The earth was beautiful as if new-born;
There was that nameless splendor everywhere
That wild exhilaration in the air.

Dabbling and Other Important Matters

So I’ve taken an interest in stamping.? Not really sure where I’m going to go with it, but I’m dabbling…so I ?bought some really cute Gooseberry Patch clear stamps from their Cookbookin’ line.? Naturally, they’re the “Baked with Love” Stamps.

I used my favorite color palette of inks, some gorgeous earthtones from Ancient Page.

Combine the items above with some tags I got at Hobby Lobby while I was in Saginaw and you get this:

A closer look:

Are these not the most darling things? I’m going to use them when I give gifts from my kitchen!? They’ll add a little extra something to an already special gift!? I must admit, these little gems have sparked my interest in stamping.? Obviously, I am not a pro by any means, but for my first attempts, these look pretty darn good!

So because today is the last day of February and we only have 3 weeks till the first day of spring, I’m giving away a set of my hand stamped “Baked with Love” tags to two (2) winners.? All you have to do to enter is leave a comment on this post telling me what you’re looking forward to about spring.? I’m looking forward to more sunshine; fresh balmy air…the pale green budding of the trees…Easter…being outdoors…and my first gardening adventures.

One entry per person please.? No entries after midnight PST February 28.? Winners will be announced sometime Monday afternoon, March 1.? Good Luck!

S.
