This Just In

February is coming to a close…spring is on its way and I am so glad for this!? More than any year I can remember, I am itching to be outdoors.? We had a nice February though–over winter break, for Valentine’s Day, we went to Saginaw and stayed at Comfort Inn and Suites.?

Of course the real purpose of our visit was to hit Chuck E. Cheese…and boy did we ever! We spend 2.5 hours there Saturday night, and?Little Man?came away with 675 tickets and a Dotza coloring kit.? He was thrilled.

He also spent a good amount of time in the pool, which he loved.

The third weekend of February found us at? his Cub Scouts Blue and Gold Banquet.? This was really fun for everyone, and coming up in March we have the Pinewood Derby.? That will be a?fun thing for Little Man and his dad to do together.

We’ve already had Little League signups; my sweet boy has a clinic in March and rookie tryouts in April.? We’re all looking forward to baseball season with anticipation, and now with the foot bridge in Washington Park, we don’t have to drive to the ball fields, we can walk.? This should make my son and Dairy Queen very happy, since DQ is effectively now on the way home.

In my own news, I started my new job in February and I am loving it.? It’s face paced, fun and only a few hours a day maximum.? I’m home when Little Man is home, and I really can’t beat that.?
