Dabbling and Other Important Matters
So I’ve taken an interest in stamping.? Not really sure where I’m going to go with it, but I’m dabbling…so I ?bought some really cute Gooseberry Patch clear stamps from their Cookbookin’ line.? Naturally, they’re the “Baked with Love” Stamps.
I used my favorite color palette of inks, some gorgeous earthtones from Ancient Page.
Combine the items above with some tags I got at Hobby Lobby while I was in Saginaw and you get this:
A closer look:
Are these not the most darling things? I’m going to use them when I give gifts from my kitchen!? They’ll add a little extra something to an already special gift!? I must admit, these little gems have sparked my interest in stamping.? Obviously, I am not a pro by any means, but for my first attempts, these look pretty darn good!
So because today is the last day of February and we only have 3 weeks till the first day of spring, I’m giving away a set of my hand stamped “Baked with Love” tags to two (2) winners.? All you have to do to enter is leave a comment on this post telling me what you’re looking forward to about spring.? I’m looking forward to more sunshine; fresh balmy air…the pale green budding of the trees…Easter…being outdoors…and my first gardening adventures.
One entry per person please.? No entries after midnight PST February 28.? Winners will be announced sometime Monday afternoon, March 1.? Good Luck!

Ahhh spring where we can say”get outside and play to our kids… and they can!” Robins on the front lawn…leaving the windows open and smelling the fresh air……Bring on Spring!
I love your site. I also love the tags, I know I would love a set. Thanks for doing this.
Let’s see what I love about spring? EVERYTHING,lol. I just heard on the radio yesterday on the way home from work that we here have our furnace on 7 months of the year. I guess he was right, but I never realized it before. I am anxious for our furnace to go off and the heating bill to go down.
Those tags look fantastic! Thanks for sharing our stamps here and, for even more Gooseberry Patch goodies, check out our blog at http://www.gooseberrypatch.typepad.com …see you there!
Thank you so much ladies! I am going to add your blog to my blogroll and follow you on Facebook:) I am tracking down the other sets of stamps, I have to have them all:)
Stacey
I would love to get your tags. Can’t wait for spring to see what God creates for us.Birds singing ,the flowers pushing up,trees getting their new buds on.We had a record snow this winter so far and its not over so will be happy when springs comes.
Hi, Stacey: I like your site and already have saved your pizza recipe to try. What I am looking forward to in Spring is to be able to see the sidewalks which have been covered in snow for the last two months. I will love being able to buy geranium plants which I put in clay pots around the railing of my deck each year. I also fill the big concrete pots in the front yard with pansies. My knockout rose bush will be blooming all summer and maybe even in the Spring. I am really yearning for Spring. The stamps are adorable, and I am a frequent baker and like to share it with my neighbors and friends. Thank you for this drawing.

Hi Cin! Thanks for doing the drawing, I didn’t know about your blog, think I will like to read it a lot!
Again, thanks for doing this, Stacey. Even though I didn’t win, it was exciting. Can you tell me where to purchase these. I tried Goose Berry Patch, but could not find them listed.
Rosemary
Hi Rosemary! I had to do a pretty extensive search for them online because Gooseberry Patch isn’t selling that kind of product anymore. I found the full line of their stamps at http://www.scrapbook-heaven.com , I’ll be ordering other sets from them.
Stacey
Hi Annie! Thanks, I hope you enjoy it:)
Stacey
Oh, No, Stacey. I went to the site you posted, but it’s out of stock! Any other place you know of to get this? Thank you.
Stacey, sorry to be a pest, but I called them and they said they have a new order in for these stamps. I gave her my name and number and she will call me when they come in. I really like the stamps and thank you for drawing them to my attention.
Rosemary
You’re fine Rosemary! I’m glad you were able to contact them. I really love all their stamps too.
