A Springtime Sunset

I don’t live in the country, as you can tell.? I do live in rural northern Michigan though, in a very small town.? So as much as I would like to have just captured the trees and the sunset, it just wasn’t going to happen and I didn’t want to Photoshop anything out.? Sunsets like this make me happy to live here, and happy to be alive.

These pictures were taken on the 20th of March, 2010, just as the sun was setting.

Gives a whole new meaning to “Friday Night Lights”, doesn’t it? Even though I took this on a Saturday.?
