Spring Arrived On My Doorstep!

When I got home from work today, I was delighted to see that Spring had arrived in a mysterious box on my porch.? I had signed up for the Brown Bag Spring Swap at the Swap Spot/Taste of Home Message Board Community, and my package from my swap partner had arrived!
I carefully cut the tape, and opened the box to find so many wonderful spring time treasures, as well as awesome things to bake with, and yummy things to eat!?
?Thanks so much to my swap partner Hedgie, aka Joan, for all the wonderful items.? I am especially excited about the herb seeds and the gardening journal, both of which I will use this year!
Who doesn’t love gardening gloves? I know my hands certainly do!?I know these will be put to good use for sure!
And then she done went and spoilt me with Girl Scout cookies…and Lindt truffles (how did she know that I have a secret penchant for these? I’ve told no one!)
All in all a wonderfully sweet variety of goodies that I was thrilled to receive.? Thank you so much Joan, I feel like you’ve known me forever by all the fantastic items you sent.? You were a terrific swap partner!

Umm, not so much spring here – supposedly autumn is on its way, but today it’s a top of 29 degrees. Mostly this means I still have long pants AND sundresses in my closet. Personally I can’t wait for lower temperatures, so I can wear my favourite boots!
