As some of you may know, my son has an obsession with sharks.? If it’s shark related, he has to have it–and within limits, I indulge him in this.? I especially like to encourage educational items about sharks, so we’re always looking for pictures and videos on the internet.? The idea to make Little Man’s birthday party invitations came to me as we were surfing the net for pictures the other day and we came upon this website.? This is the online home of Andy Murch, staff photographer for Shark Diver Magazine and shark advocate.?

Little Man loved the pictures Mr. Murch has taken of so many different sharks, but he especially loved the great whites.? I decided to write to Mr. Murch and see if he’d let me use one of his photos to make Little Man’s invitations, and he graciously said yes.? So Little Man picked out the picture he liked best and after a little work in Photoshop by mom, we got these really cool birthday invites.
