The Simple Woman’s Day Book May 30, 2010

?Outside my window…? ~?68 degrees, blue skies and sunny.

?I am thinking…? ~that yesterday was a really nice day.? One of those “life is perfect” days.

?I am thankful for… ~ TruGreen Lawn Care.? Nettle problem=solved!? And cheaper than doing it myself!

?I am wearing… ~denim capris and a tan tank top. Same outfit as last Sunday!

?I am remembering…? ~the other night with Toadie.? It was a full moon, we couldn’t sleep and so stayed up until 2:30 laughing our butts off.? My son really should take it on the road, he’s hilarious.? I laughed until my stomach hurt.

??I am going… ~ to finish up laundry today and bake cookies for our cook out tomorrow.

?I am currently reading…? ~nothing.? Again.

?I am hoping…? ~that I am back at West in the fall.? Budget cuts are so not cool.

?On my mind… ~Coordinating everything we’re doing tomorrow.? Looking forward to the parade!

?Noticing that…?? ~Little Man is really enjoying the kitchen.? I taught him how to make Betty Crocker’s Warm Delights cakes by himself yesterday.? He was so proud!

?Pondering these words… “To everything there is a time and a season.”

?From the kitchen… ~Gyoza is about the only thing I’ve really cooked lately.? We’ve had sandwiches and pizza this week.? Between the heat and a busy schedule, it’s worked for us.

?Around the house… ~ Maintaining the clean.? Keeping up on clutter busting.? Mowed the lawn yesterday; Finishing laundry today.

?One of my favorite things? ~ chenille blankets.? So? cuddly, soft and warm.? Why that came to mind with summer heat all around is beyond me!
