?Outside my window…? ~?64 degrees, with a cold rain and cloudy.
?I am thinking…? ~about life’s journey.? The intricacies and complexities…the sheer volume of thought during a lifetime is amazing.
?I am thankful for… ~being in my forties.? I have insight now that I didn’t have ten or 15 years ago.? I wouldn’t go back if I could.
?I am wearing… ~Fuzzy jammy pants and my Snuffleupagus nightie, just like last week, because I slept in today.
?I am remembering…? ~all the fun we’ve had this past week with my nephew Nathan staying at my house.? I sure do love that young man.
??I am going… ~ to begin making small changes to my diet and I am so excited.? I actually want to do this…so I think I’m ready!
?I am currently reading…? ~Wolf Hall.? It’s a historical book about Thomas Cromwell…still reading, it’s a dry read.
?I am hoping…? ~to give up drinking pop by fall.? I drink Diet Pepsi like it’s going out of style.? It’s the caffeine that I need more than the soda itself, so I’m going to either switch to coffee, or talk to my doctor about a caffeine pill of some kind, if they even have those.
?On my mind… ~physical fitness.
?Noticing that…?? ~we have had more than enough rain lately.? I can’t get the lawn mowed and it’s irritating me.
?Pondering these words… “The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”
?From the kitchen… ~Home made pizza with 25% whole wheat flour in the crust last night.? It was wonderful! Spaghetti with a wonderful home made garlic bread the night before.? On deck for this week–buttermilk fried chicken…I also made some fabulous savory corn muffins last night, recipe coming tomorrow on the blog.
?Around the house… ~ Laundry, sweeping, general tidying up.
?One of my favorite things? ~?shoes.? A girl can never have too many pairs.? I’ve loved them since I was a kid.
