FOR TODAY… from Stacey’s Daybook
Outside my window… ~73 degrees, dark, cloudy and rainy off and on.

I am thinking… ~about how good it feels to deep clean my home and purge items that we no longer need.  I cleaned Evan’s room yesterday, and it looks incredible.

I am thankful for… ~my Silhouette cutting machine.  It was a gift from my best friend, and I really enjoy playing with it!

I am wearing… ~capris and a black lacy tank top.

I am remembering… ~my period of depression.  It was such a dark time for me, and the difference between now and then is just mind boggling.

I am going… ~to continue being  a good diabetic this week.  I have successfully completed one week and I’m doing very well.

I am currently reading…About to begin a new book, one of four I have checked out from the library.  Just finished Arthas by Christie Golden, and it was excellent.

I am hoping…~to get better at stamping and card making.  I sure do enjoy it.

On my mind… ~continued good behavior in the diabetes arena.  Two weeks tomorrow.

Noticing that… ~fall is coming…the leaves on some of the trees have started to turn already.

Pondering these words… ”Amazing” and “Snarky”.  Both of these words are over and incorrectly used on a regular basis and if I hear how some person is “amazing” for doing ordinary things like grocery shopping one more time, I think I will pull my hair out.

From the kitchen… ~Grilled Meatloaf, Spicy Thai Peanut Chicken (recipe coming this week) and I’m not sure what else, it is really dependent on the weather.

Around the house… ~taking it easy today.  I worked my butt off yesterday deep cleaning Little Man’s bedroom, and I also did my linen closet this week.  I got a lot accomplished and it sure feels good!

One of my favorite things ~the autumn color palette. Something about it evokes such a strong feeling of happiness in me.  There’s a reason my blog is the color scheme it is!
