Cleaning the Basement and the History of Duncan Hines

Today commences the cleaning of the basement for me.

The way I’m announcing this, you would think it’s a yearly festival or something.

Rest assured, it’s not.

It’s going to be two to three days of back breaking labor.

Okay, so maybe not back breaking.

But heavy lifting aplenty, O Joy of Joys!

I am not going to take pictures. You’ll just have to take my word for it that it’s a positively horrid mess.

I may not post for a couple of days.

This will be because I will be trying to find my way out of the mess down there.

I learned something I didn’t know by reading this article.

Duncan Hines was a real guy. Who knew?

I love a good baking mix, and Duncan Hines makes awesome brownie mixes.

One of which I am going to bake to celebrate my clean basement.
