I am thinking… ~about the feeling of freedom that comes from not having so many material possessions.
I am thankful for… ~our schools. Working at one of our local schools has shown me how much effort goes into giving our kids an education.
I am wearing… ~hippie jeans embroidered with flowers and a black, lace trimmed tank top.
I am remembering… ~what my basement looked like last week.
I am going… ~to relax this last week of summer. I’ve been very busy this summer and it’s flown right by. Time to take some time for myself and watch my 90210 Season 2 marathon.
I am currently reading…nothing. A trip to the library is in order after Labor Day.
I am hoping…~that I can maintain the organization of my house. I have worked very hard this summer purging, cleaning, organizing.
On my mind… ~Little Man’s second grade Open House on Tuesday. Really looking forward to it.
Noticing that… ~I need to mow my lawn a lot more with TruGreen lawn service.
Pondering these words… “Be still and know that I am God.” Seriously taking that to heart this week.
From the kitchen… ~Home made pizza with whole wheat crust; cinnamon ice cream; double berry sorbet; sloppy joes; banana bread. Some of this I’ve already made, but most of it is on deck for this week.
Around the house… ~basement completed. COMPLETED MAN! I am one happy, happy woman. I can’t get over the difference. Now to save up a bit of money to buy a dehumidifier for it.
One of my favorite things ~the flower bouquets I get from my parents, made with flowers from my dad’s garden. I love flowers on my tables, and these bring me so much happiness.

Oooh, a flower bouquet…how lovely. I’m trying to organize too and I have to realize that it may be a long process for me. The house is out of control and I need to get some order. I’m so excited for you finishing the basement and getting rid of so much…what an accomplishment! The things that you make always sound so wonderful.
Kelli I was right there with you. Out of control on the house. One thing at a time, one space at a time. The goal is to slowly finish it and then maintain it.
