FOR TODAY… from Stacey’s Daybook
Outside my window… ~30 degrees and cloudy. I’m taking a break from cleaning and wrapping up counting box tops.
I am thinking… ~I’m going to start working on my spring cleaning list. I have a couple of organizational projects I would like to get done before summer.
I am thankful for… ~my freezer and refrigerators. They allow me to take advantage of sales and save me a lot of money.
I am wearing… ~a gray bar wench tee shirt and blue jeans.
I am remembering… ~the fun time I had in Gaylord with Toadie yesterday. We really enjoyed ourselves shopping.
I am going… ~to (at last!) blog about our Chicago trip this week.
I am currently reading…~Stormrage by Richard Knaak, still. It’s 355 pages long and right now I’m only reading at bed time.
I am hoping…~to get a new storm door for the front of the house.
On my mind… ~how behind I am with housework and other things I have to do because I’ve been sick for nearly two weeks now. I have some serious catching up to do.
Noticing that… ~I get sick more now than when I was a smoker.
Pondering these words… “The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” This is so symbolic of an adventure I am about to embark on. I’m not ready to talk about it yet, but you’ll hear about it soon.
From the kitchen… ~on deck for this week–stuffed shells, ham steak and macaroni and cheese, NY strip on the grill.
Around the house… ~laundry, sweeping, dusting mostly done. Trying to clear my flat surfaces of clutter.
One of my favorite things…~Diet Pepsi. Anyone who knows me knows this. I could have an IV drip of this stuff and be just fine.
