FOR TODAY… from Stacey’s Daybook

Outside my window… ~12 degrees and sunny.  What an amazingly beautiful March day!
I am thinking… ~that I will have a great time reading to the kids at West tomorrow.  Blueberries for Sal and mini blueberry muffins–it doesn’t get any better.

I am thankful for… ~the town of Gaylord.  Their business oriented city council has made shopping fun for me again and not a chore.

I am wearing… ~a white turtle neck and jeans.

I am remembering… ~the Pinewood derby yesterday.  I am so proud of my son! (See tomorrows post for all the details.)

I am going… ~to (at last!) blog about our Chicago trip this week.  I really am.  I promise.

I am currently reading…~The Well of Eternity by Richard Knaack.

I am hoping…~to make home made dog treats some time this week.  I got a very cute set of dog bone cookie cutters at hobby lobby yesterday.
On my mind… ~spring.  How I wish it would arrive.  I desperately want to open my windows and air out my house.

Noticing that… ~I seem to be accumulating more “stuff”.  Ugh.  I need to stop that.  I purged big time last year and it felt so good to be free of all the material things I never use.  I don’t want to be in that place again.

Pondering these words… “May God bless all your small moments today.”  This comes from my friend Teri Elliot, who was inspired by a quote from Willa Cather.  I think it’s a lovely sentiment for a Sunday.
From the kitchen… ~well, last week I was so sick that I didn’t make anything I had planned.  So this week I will focus on delicious home cooked meals all week long, starting with home made macaroni and cheese and ham steak tonight.

Around the house… ~Clutter busting, putting away laundry, sweeping and tidying up.  Itching to get out in the yard.
One of my favorite things…~paper.  I am addicted to it.  I could spend hours in the paper aisle at Hobby Lobby and not even feel bad.  I got the most adorable 6 by 12 inch pads for half off yesterday, I can’t wait to play around with them.
