Fudgy Cherry Chip Cookies

Fudgy Cherry Chip Cookies
Ingredients
1 box (9 x 13 pan size) plain brownie mix
1/2 C. unsweetened applesauce
2 eggs
1/3 C. vegetable oil
3/4 C. semisweet mini morsels
1 pkg. Log Home Cherry morsels (these can be found at WalMart in the baking aisle)
Directions
In a large bowl, combine brownie mix, applesauce, eggs and oil. Add chocolate and cherry morsels, stirring well to distribute the chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonsful onto greased or parchment lined cookies sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
Makes about 4 dozen.
One cookie=3 Weight Watchers Points Plus.

I want to try these so bad. Have been to 3 Wal-Marts in my area and can’t find the cherry chips. Wonder if it would work by using chopped up marichino cherries.
I got some of the cherry chips at walmart for a dollar a bag.Im going to try and make these cookies. do you have any other recipes for the cherry chips you could share with me? thanks,Pauline
