I got an awesome kit from Heather Roselli at Sweet Shoppe Designs called “Do Your Best”. This is kit is wonderful because it’s an all purpose scouting kit, and covers so many of the big events that cub scouts have during the year.
Of course I had to have it, as I have to have many of Heather’s kits because they’re just plain awesome. Since I made the decision to start seriously digital scrap booking, I thought this was the perfect opportunity to scrap some of the photos from this year’s Pinewood Derby. I’ve already done a post on the Derby, but I wanted to have a page in my book for 2012 as well.
The other products I used were Cindy’s Layered Dates: Set 1 by Cindy Schneider. You’ve heard me rave about her products before–they are just fantastic. Check them out for yourself and see…you’ll be addicted, just like I am.
I also used Cindy’s Layered Templates-Set 107 Photo Focus. There are four very cool templates in this set, and I love the way there is a big photo with smaller accent photos in each one.
So here’s my lay out…click on it to enlarge it, please…you really can’t appreciate it in all it’s tiny splendor;). What do you think?
I’m thinking it’s a nice start, and it leaves me excited to keep on going! I’m off work for the next four days, and my goal is create a layout each day I’m off work–we’ll see how it goes!
Your comments here on the blog are very appreciated–I’m looking forward to hearing from you!
