Catch Up Post #1: The Tipi

Having decorated for Thanksgiving while Evan was in school one morning, he came home to find an adorable harvest display on my buffet table. He looked over each piece, and then he came to this:
“Mom, what is this?” he asked.
“It’s a tipi, sweetie,” I replied.
“But it doesn’t look like a tipi,” he said.
“Well you certainly thought it did when you were five!” I said.
He grins. “Oh. I was a kid,” he said.
I love conversations with this child. He makes me laugh so hard.
